Ensuring equal access to health care for every child in Nepal

Nyano Angalo works to bridge the gaps in Nepal’s Healthcare System, focusing on child health in rural communities.

We empower nurses, families, and local communities

We work among the mountains of Nepal

NA was born with a strong conviction that all children, regardless of their geographical location, socioeconomic status, or ethnicity, have the right to receive public health care during childhood. Our main goal is to close the existing gap in the provision of health services for children in rural areas, ensuring they have access to medical care.

The Reason Nyano Angalo exists

Nyano Angalo is a poetic expression that means “warm hug” in Nepali, and that’s exactly what we strive to be: a source of support during life’s most challenging moments. In Nepal, poverty doesn’t stem from a lack of natural resources but from limited access to basic services like healthcare and education. Our mission is to support existing government structures in the realm of child healthcare because we believe that prevention and proper care are key to helping every child grow up healthy. In the most critical cases, when illness is unavoidable, we aim to facilitate access to the country’s only public hospital.

Nyano Angalo exists to make every child’s life matter, offering that warm embrace that provides comfort, hope, and the strength to keep moving forward.
